Numbers go in by tapping. Tap a cell, then tap a digit on the pad. Tap the same digit again to clear it. ✎ switches the pad to pencil marks.
The pen just draws. Scribble anywhere over the board — margins, arrows, crossings-out. Nothing reads your handwriting and it never turns into a digit. Notes are saved with the puzzle and stay until you clear them.
A quick tap with the pen selects a cell instead of leaving a dot. If your pen has an eraser end, it rubs out strokes.
